A couple of weeks ago, I decided to become a member of the very large and fast growing community that is Etsy. For those of you who don’t already know it, Etsy is an American site, which hosts virtual shops where you can buy and sell handcrafted items.
I did not realize at the time, that as an Etsian, I would have to learn a whole new language, since Etsy seems to have a vocabulary all of its own. I have therefore been looking around the site, trying to familiarize myself with all of the terms - such as Storque, Treasury, Alchemy, Craftivism, Showcase, Spotlight, Convos etc
So then I decided to have a bit of fun with this new vocabulary, and using Wordle.net that I mentioned several times already, (cos I think it's great), I made some Etsian word clouds, printed them out, and used them as covers for journals - for keeping Etsy notes in, of course!
So now I can say that I speak 3 languages:- English, French and Etsian :-)
